NSDC implements various skill-based programs/schemes where Indian youths are trained in a particular skill set of their choice post which they are eligible for jobs in that sector or their skillset is enhanced post training. The primary responsibility of Manager Finance (Accounts) is to process payouts of various schemes in the SAP system and prepare the relevant accounting entries as per the current accounting and taxation policies. The role requires basic understanding of the SAP system, robust analytical skills and good accounting knowledge. Additionally, candidate should have a good working knowledge of MS excel.
1. Payout processing invoice wise for schemes
a. Prepare the payout sheet at invoice and batch level for vendors
b. Bank details validation across systems
c. PAN detail validation for each vendor for taxation purposes
d. Check for debit balances and any other adjustments
e. Report any error issue with relevant team and follow up for resolution
f. Prepare TDS data for tax submission on monthly basis for all scheme related payouts
2. Stakeholder Management
a. Detailed payout summary to all vendors post processing of payout
b. Timely response to any query related to payouts raised by vendors
3. MIS weekly, monthly & ad hoc
a. Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS) on a monthly basis
b.
Weekly MIS for disbursements processed for management review
c. Maintain data in specified formats to be shared with other stakeholders as per requirements
4. Data validation
a. Vendor details to be validated across systems to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements
5. SAP Finance module development/upgrade
a. As per requirement for new scheme development and updates in running schemes, module development in SAP with preparation of BRDs and conducting UATs for module testing
Requirements
Key requirements:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder management.
- Strong SAP knowledge (minimum 4 years experience ).
- Good understanding of tax laws and their application.
- Ability to convert large, complex datasets into clear reports and actionable insights.
- Experience in finalisation of accounts, ledger and bank reconciliation in SAP, MIS preparation and reporting.
- Experience in project accounting and project financing in prior roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel (including macros).
- Educational qualifications: MBA (Finance) or CA Inter or ICWA, graduation from a commerce stream.
