Role & responsibilities

Reconciliations

- Reconcile blockchain wallets, exchange accounts, custodian accounts, bank accounts, and digital asset balances.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
- Verify on-chain transactions using blockchain explorers and maintain supporting documentation.

Financial Reporting

- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for digital asset holdings, cost basis, fair value adjustments, and unrealized gains/losses.
- Support audit requests and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Digital Asset & DeFi Accounting

- Perform accounting for DeFi activities, including staking, restaking, liquid staking, yield farming, liquidity pools, LP tokens, lending protocols, borrowing transactions, DAO treasury activities, and other blockchain-based investment products.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; CA/CPA/ACCA qualification preferred.
• 25 years of accounting experience, including 23 years in cryptocurrency or digital asset accounting.
• Hands-on experience with crypto accounting platforms such as Cryptio, Bitwave, Ledgible, CoinTracking, or similar solutions.




• Experience working with cryptocurrency exchanges, custodians, wallets, and DeFi protocols.
• Experience working with investment managers, family offices, hedge funds, or digital asset companies is preferred.

The role involves managing digital asset transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, blockchain knowledge, and experience with crypto investment products.
