Role & responsibilities

- Plan and execute daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Monitor assembly line operations and ensure smooth production flow.
- Supervise shop-floor manpower, ensuring optimum utilization.
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and Stores departments for uninterrupted production.
- Analyze production losses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, rejection, downtime, and OEE.
- Maintain production reports, shift records, and daily MIS.
- Support new product implementation and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of production planning, assembly processes, and line balancing.
- Experience in manpower handling and shift management.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and problem-solving tools.
- Valuable communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
