Job Title: Fitter

Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

The Fitter is responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure secure and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, fitting, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Repair and replace mechanical parts such as bearings, belts, shafts, and couplings.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.
- Maintain maintenance records and complete assigned tasks on time.

Qualification & Experience

- ITI Fitter (Mandatory).
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Skills

- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and fitting.
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Good troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
