- Perform laboratory experiments for API synthesis and process development.
- Conduct literature and patent searches to identify synthetic routes.
- Develop cost-effective, scalable, and non-infringing manufacturing processes.
- Optimize reaction conditions to improve yield, purity, and process robustness.
- Record experimental observations in laboratory notebooks.
- Coordinate with Analytical R&D; for sample analysis, impurity profiling, and method development.
- Interpret analytical data (HPLC, GC, NMR, IR, etc.).
- Prepare technical documents, development reports, batch records, and technology transfer documents.
- Support pilot plant and manufacturing during scale-up and validation batches.
- Investigate process deviations and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, EHS, and data integrity requirements.
- Work in rotational shifts as per project and laboratory requirements to ensure continuous research and process development activities.
- Conduct research and process development for synthetic API molecules, Oncology and other complex areas.
