You will ensure that delivered services are optimized to meet business demands and the service operations strategy, plan, measure, report and communicate service improvement initiatives, and serve as a consultant on issues and resolutions. Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Software Configuration Engineer to join our Digital Services Research and Development team.



The ideal candidate will have experience in software configuration or digital application development implementation in support of Research and Development in food, consumer goods or pharmaceuticals for systems including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN), Global Laboratory Information System (GLIMS) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or SAP. As a Configuration Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, testing, deploying software in support of food scientists, process engineers, packaging engineers, chemists and pilot plant staff.

Responsibilities:

- Ability to deliver with minimal oversight from more senior team member(s)
- Configuration Implementation:

- Develop expertise in base software and existing configurations
- Partner with software customers to understand, document and align business needs
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Execute the configuration within the software based on business requirements and solution design.
- Develop and drive execution of User Acceptance Testing and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues during testing and deployment.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and standardization
- Build reports, dashboards, forms, calculations, visuals, notebook inputs
