Job Summary
Task Description: Test Engineer (Karate & BDD)

Key Responsibilities
• Perform API testing for REST services with solid validation and defect detection.
• Develop and execute Karate automation scripts for functional and regression coverage.
• Apply BDD (Given/When/Then) to create structured and explicit test scenarios.
• Write high‑quality requirement‑based test cases aligned to business needs and user stories.
• Build and maintain regression test suites to support continuous releases.
• Perform functional testing across integrated systems.
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure complete test coverage.




• Document defects clearly and support root‑cause analysis.

Required Skills & Experience
• Proficiency in Karate Framework for automated API testing.
• Solid understanding of BDD principles and writing effective BDD scenarios.
• Excellent skills in requirement‑based test case creation and business‑logic validation.
• Solid competency in designing and maintaining regression test cases.
• Good understanding of JSON, API authentication, HTTP methods.
• Highly committed, reliable, and accountable in delivering high‑quality work.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross‑functional teams.
