Nexority is looking for experienced Instructional Designers with expertise in ELA and Science Assessment Development for a remote contract prospect.

We are seeking professionals with hands-on experience in Instructional Design, Assessment Development, and the US K–12 Curriculum (Grades 3–12) . This role is ideal for candidates who have developed assessment questions, item banks, or standardized assessments for English Language Arts (ELA) and/or Science .

What You'll Work On Develop high-quality ELA and/or Science assessment questions aligned with US curriculum guidelines.
Create grade-appropriate assessment content for Grades 3–12.
Design assessments that align with learning objectives, instructional standards, and assessment guidelines.
Maintain consistency, quality,



and instructional accuracy throughout the assessment development process.
Key Responsibilities Develop high-quality assessment content for ELA and/or Science.
Apply instructional design principles while creating assessment items.
Create question banks, answer keys, and rationales.
Collaborate with SMEs and review content for quality and accuracy.
Ensure alignment with US curriculum standards and grade-level expectations.

Who We're Looking For Instructional Designers with ELA and/or Science assessment development experience.
Assessment Developers or Item Writers with US K–12 curriculum exposure.
Curriculum Developers with experience creating ELA and/or Science assessments.
Educators or Subject Matter Experts with hands-on experience in assessment development.
