We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand the academic business for Ansys solutions. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, strengthening relationships with educational institutions, and promoting simulation-driven learning across the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales strategy and revenue generation for ANSYS academic products across the region.
Develop and manage relationships with universities, engineering colleges, and research institutions.
Identify recent business opportunities and expand market penetration in the academic segment.
Manage the complete sales lifecycle: lead generation, presentations, negotiations, and closures.
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver product demos, workshops, and academic programs.
Build partnerships with faculty, HODs, and decision-makers in institutions.
Forecast sales targets, track pipeline, and ensure timely reporting.




Participate in academic events, seminars, and industry conferences.
Lead and mentor a regional sales team (if applicable).

Key Requirements:
8–10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the software/technology/education domain.
Strong exposure to academic or institutional sales is highly preferred.
Understanding of engineering simulation tools or exposure to Ansys products is an advantage.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil preferred).
MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
