Pickup & Delivery Operations

- Pick up laundry/dry-cleaning orders from customers' homes or offices at scheduled time slots
- Deliver cleaned and pressed garments back to customers within committed turnaround time (TAT)
- Follow the daily delivery route/schedule assigned by the store manager or via app-based routing
- Handle multiple pickups/drops per shift, prioritizing based on time-sensitivity

Order Handling & Accuracy

- Verify item count and condition at pickup (note any pre-existing stains, damages, or missing buttons before accepting)
- Cross-check delivered items against the order slip/invoice to avoid mismatches
- Use garment tags/barcodes correctly to prevent mix-ups between customer orders
- Collect and hand over any special instructions (e.g., "no starch," "handle with care") to the processing team

Customer Interaction

- Greet customers professionally and represent the brand's image
- Collect payment (cash/UPI/card via POS device) if not already paid online, and issue receipts
- Address basic customer queries about order status, pricing, or delivery timing
- Escalate complaints (damaged items, delays, wrong items) to the store manager promptly

Vehicle & Equipment





- Maintain the two-wheeler in positive working condition (fuel, tire pressure, basic upkeep)
- Ensure valid driving license, RC, insurance, and pollution certificate are carried at all times
- Use given delivery bags/covers to keep garments clean, wrinkle-free, and protected from rain/dust
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management

Documentation & Reporting

- Get delivery confirmation (signature/OTP/app-based acknowledgment) from customers
- Update order status in the app/system after each pickup and delivery (picked up, in-transit, delivered)
- Submit daily collection summary (cash collected, orders completed) to the store manager
- Report any undelivered orders with reason (customer unavailable, wrong address, etc.)

Compliance & Conduct

- Follow traffic rules and safety norms at all times
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to assigned shift timings
- Maintain a clean, presentable appearance (uniform if provided)
- Treat customer belongings with care — no rough handling of garments
