MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• Must be from the Insurance / insurance broking industry
• Significant exposure to renewable energy, energy, or infrastructure insurance
• 10+ years of experience in Corporate Insurance Sales
• Proven track records for revenue generation and maintaining P & L

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute the renewable energy insurance strategy in line with organizational goals.
• Establish and scale the Renewable Energy vertical with full ownership of P&L;, revenue targets, and profitability.
• Identify growth opportunities across solar, wind, hybrid, hydro, battery storage, EV infrastructure, and green hydrogen projects.
• Track market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks impacting renewable energy projects.
• Acquire and manage relationships with large developers, IPPs, EPC contractors, project owners, lenders, and investors.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and project finance teams.




• Lead negotiations for large and complex insurance placements.
• Drive account retention, cross-selling, and long-term client engagement.
Design and place comprehensive insurance programs including:
• Construction All Risk (CAR)
• Erection All Risk (EAR)
• Delay in Start-Up (DSU)
• Operational All Risk (OAR)
• Machinery Breakdown (MB)
• Business Interruption (BI)
• Marine, Liability, Cyber, and Specialty covers
• Work closely with domestic insurers and international reinsurers to secure capacity and competitive terms.
• Ensure insurance programs meet lender and project finance requirements.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline
• Insurance qualifications such as Licentiate, Associate, or Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India (III) will be an added advantage.
