Job Description:

Role Objective
• Ensure accurate Accounts Payable, banking transactions, and compliance
• Maintain GST, TDS compliance, strong controls, and audit readiness

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable, Expenses & Vendor Controls
• Review and post vendor invoices ensuring PO/GRN match, GL, Cost Center, GST mapping
• Process credit cards, employee expenses, debit/credit notes with proper documentation
• Maintain vendor reconciliations, AP ageing, and escalation of overdue items
• Validate GSTIN, ITC eligibility, HSN/SAC, and prevent duplicate entries
• Verify and process vendor payments (FPR), including MSME compliance
• Track and document invoices on hold and vendor balances

Imports, GST & TDS Compliance
• Handle import accounting & landed costing (IGST, BOE, freight, CHA, etc.)
• Reconcile BOE, purchase register, and GSTR-2B for ITC accuracy
• Maintain custom duty register and ensure timely ITC availment
• Ensure compliance with TDS & GST provisions

Banking, Reconciliation & Controls
• Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation (BRS) and resolve discrepancies
• Track unreconciled items,



suspense entries, and stale transactions
• Ensure accounting of bank charges, interest, and direct entries
• Support cash flow tracking and ensure accuracy of bank balances

Fixed Assets & Financial Controls
• Verify capital vs revenue classification and capitalization
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation as per Companies Act
• Perform weekly GL reviews and ensure hygiene of books

MIS, Audit & Process Improvement
• Support MIS reporting and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare schedules and coordinate for statutory/internal audits
• Supervise team, strengthen 3-way match controls, and improve processes

Stakeholder Coordination
• Liaise with Sales, Operations, Vendors, and Auditors
• Ensure timely issue resolution and professional communication

Qualification & Skills
• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter
• 6–8 years experience in AP & finance
• SAP and Excel proficiency
• Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, vendor accounting, and reconciliations
