Job Description:

Job Title : DevOps Architect (Cloud Engineer, Software Development Engineer)
Department : Product & Engineering
Location : Kolkata (Onsite)

Job Summary: We are looking for a cloud architect who will help us build highly
concurrent systems that improve customer experience. They will be responsible for
app release and deployments , app performance including database , and identifying
production issues , vulnerability and security of production environments and other
compliance like GDPR and optimising cost of infra .

Key Responsibilities
● Our apps are deployed in google cloud, AWS and we are open to any cloud .So
we use Cloud agnostic tools.
● Automated server monitoring setup & HA adherence and ensure 99.95%
uptime across all services.
● Managing CI/CD pipeline.
● Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch , Kafka
along with DBA. Ensure processes like missing indexes , archiving historical
data are in place .
● Configure and manage clusters of open source data streaming technologies
like kafka , spark
● Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes
for DevOps operation
● Review and act on the Service requests, Infrastructure requests and Incidents
logged by our Implementation teams and clients. Identifying, analysing, and
resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
● Own anything related to the production environment . Make sure it is secure
and monitor the company's cloud privacy and take initiative for anything to
make it compliant with GDPR etc .
● Identifying top cloud architecture to meet company’s need
● Manage cloud/IT budget .

● Collaborate with Software Engineers to help them deploy and operate different
systems,



also help to automate and streamline company's operations and
processes.
● Developing interface simulators and designing automated module deployments.
● Proactively participate with Product managers to include anything which will
improve performance of the app .

Key Skills & qualifications :

● Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information
technology, information systems.
● Proven work experience as cloud architect and similar role .
● 8+ years of experience in managing Linux based cloud microservices
infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
● Hands-on experience with databases including MySQL.
● Hands-on experience in docker , Kubernetes , Nginx, Apache .
● Hands on experience in build automation like maven , NPM ,Ant
● Able to setup and manage CI/CD pipelines
● Hands on experience in API gateways , rate limit , IP restrictions ,etc
● Positive knowledge of various scripting languages for automation like powershell,
bash scripting , python ,etc .
● Good knowledge of managing and integrating code quality tools .
● Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s
success
● Critical thinker and problem-solving skills .
● Excellence knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing
trends .
● Ability to install and configure software, gather test-stage data, and perform
debugging.
● Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring various metrics.
● Advanced knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and
cybersecurity.
● Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
● Experience in managing big data environments

Experience:

● Must have 8+ years of experience as Cloud ops architect or similar Role
