Role Summary:

We are seeking a Workday Product Lead to join our fast-growing team in Chennai. This is a strategic role that combines deep technical expertise in Workday Integrations with team leadership and internal capability-building. The ideal candidate will not only lead high-impact client-facing projects but also play a key role in upskilling internal teams through structured Workday training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Client-Facing / Product Leadership:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Workday integrations including EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, PICOF/PECI, and custom reporting.

- Act as a solution architect for integration projects, ensuring scalable, high-quality delivery.

- Drive Workday AMS initiatives, serving as a subject matter expert for ongoing support, enhancements, and upgrades.

- Liaise with clients to gather business requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and ensure smooth delivery.

- Own integration landscapes for multiple clients across industries including pharma, energy, healthcare, and BFSI.

Internal Enablement & Training:

- Develop and conduct internal Workday training sessions (Studio, Integration Tools, Reporting, Security, etc.) for junior and mid-level consultants.

- Create internal training content, documentation, and sandbox use cases to simulate real-world Workday integration scenarios.

- Mentor team members through code reviews, performance feedback, and continuous learning initiatives.

Requirements

Experience & Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in HCM technology with at least 5 years in Workday integrations.

- Workday certification in Studio and Core Integrations is preferred but not mandatory.



Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.

- Hands-on experience building integrations using Studio, EIB, CCW, PECI, DT, XML/XSLT, and custom reports.

- Strong understanding of Workday security, object model, and integration architecture.

- Proven track record in leading AMS projects, including production support, defect resolution, and enhancement design.

- Previous experience with PeopleSoft HRMS is a plus.

- Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to drive discussions independently.

- Strong mentorship and training abilities; prior experience in a training or enablement capacity is highly desirable.

Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
