Role Description The Senior Procurement Specialist is a full time hybrid role based in Vadodara, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. In this role, the specialist oversees end-to-end procurement activities, including managing purchase orders, sourcing vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The position involves evaluating and onboarding suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and maintaining strong, ethical relationships with partners. The specialist will analyze spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and align procurement strategies with business goals and compliance requirements.



Day-to-day work includes collaborating with finance, operations, and product teams, monitoring supplier performance, resolving issues, and continuously improving procurement policies and processes in support of HummingBird's growth.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement expertise, including experience managing end-to-end Procurement processes and implementing best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Purchase Orders, including creation, approval workflows, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Demonstrated ability in Supplier Evaluation, vendor onboarding, performance monitoring, and risk assessment.
- Proven track record in Contract Negotiation, including pricing, terms and conditions, service levels, and renewals.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret spend data, generate insights, forecast demand, and support data-driven decisions.
- Experience in technology or SaaS environments, preferably within HRTech, AI, or workforce platforms.
- Proficiency with ERP/procurement tools and strong Excel or data analysis skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
