Role Description The Social Media Designer Intern will support the design and creation of visual content for Laneway's social media channels and digital campaigns. This internship role is remote, offering flexibility to collaborate with the team from any location. Day-to-day tasks include designing graphics for posts and stories, assisting with branding assets, and creating visually consistent content that aligns with campaign objectives. The intern will work with marketing and consulting teams to translate business messages into engaging visuals,



adapt designs for multiple platforms, and maintain design files and templates. This role may also involve basic video or motion graphic support, brainstorming creative concepts, and contributing ideas to enhance Laneway's online presence.
Qualifications

- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create explicit, engaging social media visuals.
- Experience or interest in Logo Design and Branding to support consistent visual identity across digital touchpoints.
- Understanding of Typography and layout principles to produce readable and aesthetically balanced designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar software.
- Portfolio or samples showcasing social media or digital design work (academic, personal, or freelance projects are welcome).
- Ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing original ideas and creative concepts.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Interest in social media trends, digital marketing, and startup or consulting environments; current students or recent graduates in Design, Visual Communication, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
