Role Description The Senior Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Siliguri, responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement activities for the organization. This role includes identifying and evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services in line with budget and quality standards. The Senior Purchase Manager will develop and implement purchasing strategies, maintain accurate purchase records, and coordinate closely with operations, finance, and other internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels. The role also involves monitoring supplier performance, resolving discrepancies, ensuring compliance with organizational policies,



and continuously improving procurement processes for cost efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications

- Strong experience in procurement and purchasing management, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in supply chain and inventory management practices, with the ability to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
- Solid analytical and budgeting skills, including cost analysis, market research, and data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build long-term supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and standard MS Office tools for reporting and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; advanced certifications in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in a senior purchasing or similar role, preferably within a growing, mission-driven organization.
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while leading and mentoring team members.
