Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Developer with 2+ years of experience in database development and data processing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PL/SQL and database technologies and be capable of developing, optimizing, and maintaining database solutions that support business applications and reporting needs. Exposure to Snowflake and Python will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain database objects such as stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views using PL/SQL.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to improve efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and application data problems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Support ETL processes and data integration activities across multiple systems.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

Required Skills





- Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL development.
- Good knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or any equivalent database platform.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and database optimization.
- Understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have Skills

- Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Knowledge of Python for data processing, automation, or scripting.
- Exposure to ETL/ELT tools and data integration processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing concepts.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in database development and software development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical domain will be an added advantage.

- Primary Skillset: PL/SQL (any database platform is acceptable)
- Secondary Skillset (Positive to Have): Snowflake, Python
