Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering

Experience:

15+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a robust focus on welding quality and inspection.

Candidates with experience in Rail Car Body Inspection will be preferred.

Mandatory Certifications:

IWE (International Welding Engineer) Certification

EN Certified NDT Level II VT (Visual Testing) & PT (Penetrant Testing)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of rail car bodies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Conduct visual and penetrant testing (VT/PT) of welded structures as per applicable standards.

Ensure welding quality meets project specifications and international standards.

Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate with production, welding, and quality teams to resolve inspection-related concerns.

Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.

Ensure adherence to safety, quality,



and regulatory requirements throughout the inspection process.
