We are seeking HPE VM Essentials (VME) certified resources with strong migration and virtualization expertise for one of our Customer.

The role primarily requires L3-level skilled professionals, with potential future demand for L1 & L2 resources (to be finalized later).

The resource will be deployed at the customer location and will be responsible for supporting, managing, and optimizing virtualization infrastructure, along with executing migration activities.

Job Description – VME Certified Resource (L3)

Location: Gurgaon (Onsite – Customer Location)

Engagement Type: Managed Services / Deployment Support

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support (L3)

- Provide L3 support for HPE VME hypervisor and platform stack
- Manage cluster health, HA/DR configurations, and virtualization services
- Handle complex P1/P2 incidents, including hypervisor, cluster, and VM failures
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Collaborate with OEM/vendor teams (HPE) for escalations and resolution
- Work within strict SLA-driven environments

Monitoring & Maintenance

- Monitor cluster and hypervisor health dashboards
- Review alerts/events and take proactive corrective actions
- Analyze performance (CPU, memory, storage, network) and optimize workloads
- Perform log analysis and issue remediation
- Support patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities

VM & Platform Management

- Execute VM lifecycle operations:
- Create / delete / resize / snapshot / restore VMs




- Conduct capacity planning and utilization checks
- Maintain documentation: runbooks, SOPs, knowledge base
- Participate in 24x7 on-call support

Collaboration

- Work closely with:
- L1/L2 support teams
- Storage and network teams
- Cloud/platform teams
- Engage with HPE product teams for VME-related issues
- Participate in daily stand-ups and operational reviews

Migration Responsibilities

- Experience in VMware to VME migration projects
- Perform:
- Migration planning and wave execution
- Dependency analysis and environment readiness validation
- Pre and post migration health checks
- Use migration tools/frameworks to migrate workloads with minimal downtime

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

- HPE VM Essentials (VME) Certification (preferred)
- OR equivalent certifications:
- VMware (VCP / VCAP)
- KVM / OpenStack / Hypervisor certifications
- Robust hands-on experience in:
- HPE VME / Hypervisor platforms
- VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
- Linux OS (RHEL / Ubuntu)

Technical Expertise

- Good knowledge of:
- Storage (SAN/NAS, Ceph, etc.)
- Networking (VLAN, VXLAN, overlay networking)
- Experience with:
- Migration tools and methodologies
- Monitoring tools (OpsRamp, SolarWinds, or equivalent)

Good to Have

- Cloud certifications (Azure / AWS / GCP)
- Experience with HPE Morpheus / CMP platforms
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of containers / Kubernetes on VME
