Job Description:

Teach Contract Law and related subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments in accordance with the curriculum.

Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical sessions.

Evaluate student performance through examinations, projects, presentations, and continuous assessments.

Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities.

Conduct high-quality legal research and publish in reputed journals.

Develop and update course content to reflect current legal developments.

Participate in curriculum design, accreditation, and quality assurance activities.

Supervise internships, moot courts, dissertations, and research projects.

Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and faculty development programs.

Undertake administrative responsibilities and serve on departmental and institutional committees.

Foster collaborations with legal practitioners, courts, industries, and academic institutions.





Qualifications
LL.M. in Law with specialization in Contract Law or related discipline from a recognized university.

Ph.D. in Law (preferred/mandatory as per UGC or institutional norms for higher academic positions).
NET/SET qualification, where applicable, in accordance with UGC regulations.

Relevant teaching, research, or industry experience as per institutional requirements.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and related commercial laws.

Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.

Legal research and academic writing proficiency.

Curriculum development and assessment design.

Student mentoring and academic advising.

Proficiency in digital learning platforms and educational technologies.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and cooperative skills.
