Job Description - IT Manager

Location: Pune

Role Overview:

The IT Manager role will –

1. Emphasizes automation, data-driven decision-making, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency.

2. Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and services, ensuring secure, reliable, and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify opportunities to enhance business efficiency through technology and drive automation of repetitive processes.
- Collaborate with business teams to digitize manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct periodic audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery drills.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies, firewalls, antivirus, and backup solutions.
- Safeguard company data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget efficiently.
- Lead digital transformation, cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives.
- Design and implement RPA solutions using platforms like UiPath, Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere.
- Explore AI, analytics, and automation trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Manage and maintain servers, networks, databases, and hardware/ software assets.
- Oversee installation,



configuration, upgrades, and integration of systems and applications.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems.
- Lead the IT support team to resolve user issues promptly; implement helpdesk processes and monitor SLAs.
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and training to staff.
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows, data pipelines, and automated reporting dashboards.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automation workflows.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop IT team members; define clear goals, KPIs, and performance evaluation methods.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6–14 years of progressive IT experience, including IT operations, systems administration, and network management.
- Experience in automation, process improvement, or workflow optimization.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, databases, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience with RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) and data integration tools.
- Proficiency in SQL, APIs, Python, or other scripting languages for automation.
- Solid understanding of ETL, data pipelines, and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, compliance frameworks, and data protection regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Certifications

- ITIL, PMP, or Prince2 (for process & project management).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Architect.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+.
- RPA certifications (UiPath Advanced Developer, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere).
- Cloud certifications (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
