About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune or remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the QA efforts across various projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and industry standards. You will act as a key point of contact for all QA activities, coordinate testing efforts, and mentor junior team members. Your expertise in manual testing, domain knowledge in networking and virtualization, and leadership skills will be crucial in driving the quality assurance process forward.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong background in manual testing and domain-specific knowledge in networking, virtualization, and security protocols. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields such as BCA, MCA, or BTech (preferably in Computer Science or IT)



is required. Candidates with additional certifications or experience in automation testing, performance testing tools, or mobile application testing will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related activities during product releases, coordinating efforts internally and with external stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and manage QA team members, including contract testers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and boundary cases based on requirements, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional aspects.
- Perform root-cause analysis on complex issues related to networking, virtualization, or security, providing actionable insights for resolution.
- Manage defect lifecycle, prioritize defect resolution, and ensure proper documentation using test management and defect tracking tools.
- Understand customer requirements and collaborate with development teams to translate these into effective test cases and acceptance criteria.
- Establish and refine QA processes, metrics,



and best practices to improve efficiency, product quality, and time-to-market.
- Oversee the documentation of product communication flows, user guides, and release notes to facilitate smooth deployment and customer support.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation frameworks are optimized and aligned with testing goals, including exploring opportunities for automation and performance testing.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA, networking, virtualization, and security to continuously enhance testing methodologies.
