Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated ESG Business Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks, sustainability reporting standards, and business analysis. The role involves working closely with product, AI/ML, engineering, and research teams to translate ESG requirements into functional product features and client solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze ESG regulations, reporting frameworks, and sustainability standards.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with AI/ML, Product, and Engineering teams to design ESG-focused technology solutions.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis on ESG products and regulations.
- Support the development of AI-driven ESG products and sustainability solutions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to validate business requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Assist in product testing, UAT,



and quality assurance.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and product documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on global ESG regulations, sustainability trends, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in ESG, Sustainability, Business Analysis, Consulting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, BRSR, ISSB, and CSRD.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of ESG reporting and sustainability disclosures.
- Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, or data analytics is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong research and presentation skills.
