Role Description The Liaisoning Architect is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for coordinating with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and consultants to obtain necessary approvals and permissions for architectural and real estate projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing drawings and documentation as per regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with building codes and municipal guidelines, and maintaining accurate records of submissions and approvals. The role involves close collaboration with internal design, project management, and legal teams to align project plans with statutory norms and timelines. The Liaisoning Architect also supports feasibility studies,



participates in site visits when required, and provides regular status updates and reports to leadership on approval processes and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of local building bylaws, municipal regulations, and approval processes in Mumbai; experience dealing with development authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in architectural design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, basic CAD software); ability to read, prepare, and modify architectural drawings and plans.
- Experience in coordination and stakeholder management, including working with government officials, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Solid understanding of real estate development processes, including residential and commercial projects, project life cycles, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple approvals, maintain accurate records, and track timelines and deliverables.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities to effectively represent project requirements and follow up with authorities and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; professional registration or licensure is an advantage.
- Prior experience in liaisoning or approval-focused architectural roles in the Mumbai real estate market is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full time, handle field visits when required, and adapt to evolving regulatory and project needs.
