YOUR TASKS
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled System Tester / System Integration Tester with experience in automotive lighting systems. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting validation activities, ensuring compliance with customer, legal, regulatory, and automotive standards. The role requires expertise in automotive testing, laboratory management, calibration activities, and system integration validation.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Validation
Prepare Design Validation (DV) and Product Validation (PV) plans based on Customer Requirement Specifications (CRS).
Develop and maintain DVP timelines to ensure timely project execution.
Implement legal, regulatory, and normative requirements within validation plans.
Define and develop testing fixture concepts for DV and PV activities.
Execute testing as per approved DVP plans and customer requirements.
Prepare detailed test reports and validation documentation.
Participate in customer meetings and project review meetings, providing testing status updates and technical feedback.
Laboratory & Equipment Management
Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment, including:
Vibration Shaker
Environmental Chamber
Thermal Shock Chamber
EMC Test Setup/Tower
ESD Tester
Universal Testing Machine (UTM)
Push-Pull Tester
Digital Multimeter (DMM)
Oscilloscope
Salt Spray Test (SST) Chamber
Data Logger
Timer
Vision Measurement Machine (VMM)
Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities for test equipment.
Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and internal maintenance teams.
Manage instrument master lists and calibration schedules.
Execute calibration activities as per defined plans.
Maintain calibration records, instrument history cards, and breakdown reports.
Analyze equipment failure trends and implement corrective actions.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure compliance with NABL accreditation requirements and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
Maintain ESD compliance within laboratory operations.
Support internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
Ensure adherence to company quality standards and testing procedures.
Training & Team Support
Provide training and technical guidance to testing trainees and team members.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the testing laboratory.
Required Technical Skills
Good understanding of:
PCBA, LEDs, and Electronic Circuit Diagrams
System Testing and System Integration Testing
Automotive EMC/EMI Testing Standards
Automotive Light Homologation Requirements
ESD Control and Laboratory Practices
CAN Communication Systems
VT Systems and Basic VT Programming
DOORS, ALM, and JIRA Tools
Mandatory Requirements
Knowledge of NABL Accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
Certification/Training in NABL Accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025.
Experience in automotive lighting product validation and testing.
Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and calibration activities.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in automotive electronics and lighting validation.
Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and homologation requirements.
Good communication and customer interaction skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and testing activities simultaneously. * Qualification
B. Tech in Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering
4-5 years of relevant experience in Automotive Lighting industry
