Role Description:

The Admission Counsellor plays a vital role in guiding prospective students through their academic journey by providing comprehensive information about JSOFT's programs, admission process, and career opportunities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi.

The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for handling student enquiries through calls, emails, Whats App, and walk-ins, understanding students' educational aspirations, and counselling them on suitable programs. The role involves following up with prospective students, nurturing leads,



and converting enquiries into successful admissions. The Admission Counsellor will also maintain accurate records in the CRM, coordinate with internal departments to ensure a seamless admission process, and contribute towards achieving monthly admission targets while delivering an exceptional student experience.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills to effectively engage with prospective students and parents.

• Candidates should have strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with a passion for helping students make informed career decisions.

• Candidates should possess experience in Admission Counselling, Academic Counselling, Business Development, Customer Relationship Management, Telecalling, or Educational Sales. Experience in the education sector will be an added advantage.

• Candidates should be proficient in handling inbound and outbound calls, lead follow-ups, and CRM software.

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required. A Master's degree is an added advantage.

• Freshers with exceptional communication skills and a strong interest in educational counselling are encouraged to apply.





• Proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Malayalam and Hindi will be an added advantage.

• Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, target orientation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining high levels of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, career opportunities, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and admission procedures.

• Handle enquiries received through phone calls, emails, website, Whats App, and walk-in visits.

• Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students to maximize admission conversions.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with students throughout the admission cycle.

• Maintain accurate student information and interaction records in the CRM system.

• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding process.

• Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, career guidance sessions, and promotional activities organized by the institution.

• Consistently achieve monthly admission targets while ensuring a high standard of student satisfaction.
