Role Description The Housekeeping Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at a Marriott International property in Lucknow. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, protected, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas by performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, and ensuring bathrooms and common spaces are hygienic and orderly.
The Housekeeping Associate follows established cleaning procedures and brand standards, reports maintenance issues, and handles guest requests in a professional and courteous manner.



The role requires adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, proper use of housekeeping equipment and supplies, and accurate completion of daily room and task checklists.

The Housekeeping Associate works closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to support efficient room turnover and a consistently high level of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform housekeeping duties including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to hotel brand standards.
- Knowledge of basic safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices, including proper handling of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills to complete assigned rooms and tasks within set timelines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members in a courteous, professional manner.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry supplies and equipment for extended periods, in line with role requirements.
- Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as required in a hotel environment.
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is beneficial but not mandatory; on-the-job training may be provided.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to follow instructions, complete checklists, and understand safety labels and procedures.
