We are looking for a Test Automation Developer within the Technology Integration Platforms Business Solution Area that will play a key leadership role in ensuring that we deliver high quality Integrations and Digital Products within Nationwide's Enterprise Digital Platform. This resource will ensure that we deliver high quality, resilient, and secure solutions that govern our APIs, AI, Event Stream, and File Transfer integrations at Nationwide.

This role will be developing test automation code to perform validation of code that is developed by the Integration Governance Line, focusing on a blend of skills enabling productive execution of risk-based testing, test automation, performance testing, test data management, and test environment management.

The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics & experience:

- Solid communication, people interaction, and self-leadership skills
- Thought leadership with strong ability to influence and lead continuous improvement
- Experience developing software via Agile software development methodologies
- Ability to define and manage multiple test plans along with the reporting and metrics of the results
- Plans for the proper mix of manual, automated, and exploratory testing methods using a risk-based approach
- Uses the appropriate quality engineering tools to define test data management, test automation, security/vulnerability, performance,



and regression testing
- Manages defects including identifying, tracking, and providing critical thinking for resolution
- Experience developing and executing REST API tests using tools such as Postman and Newman and validating test results match OAS/Swagger documents
- Experience testing developing and executing tests for Single Page Applications

As a Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.

Experience:
Four or more years of analysis and technology experience.
