The Associate Principal Graphic Designer is a senior individual contributor responsible for leading the creative vision and execution of high-impact design initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with executive stakeholders to develop compelling visual narratives and scalable design strategies that strengthen Tekion’s brand identity. The ideal candidate combines deep creative expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence through thoughtful, effective design.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead design for major cross-functional initiatives including product launches, executive presentations, brand campaigns, and customer-facing communications
• Translate business goals into compelling visual concepts that are clear, engaging, and aligned with Tekion’s brand standards
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and executive teams to drive creative alignment and cohesive messaging
• Contribute to the evolution of Tekion’s brand system, including visual guidelines and scalable asset libraries
• Own the creative direction and execution of high-stakes deliverables with minimal oversight
• Mentor designers across levels and champion design best practices, quality standards, and team growth
• Present creative concepts and deliverables to senior leadership; participate in strategic planning and design alignment conversations

Expertise:

Recognized expert in visual communication, brand development, and creative storytelling; contributes to enterprise-level design standards and innovation

Qualifications:

• 7–9 years of experience in graphic design, creative direction, or visual communications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in concept development, brand execution, and storytelling across digital and print platforms
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and presentation software (e.g., Keynote, PowerPoint)
• Proven success partnering with senior leadership and delivering high-impact creative work
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead design strategy and elevate creative output across teams
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, responsive design, and multi-platform execution preferred
