Job Description: Draftsman – SEW-EURODRIVE (3 Years Experience)

Experience: 3+ Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Location: Typically Vadodara, Gujarat or other SEW locations

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Create detailed manufacturing, assembly, and layout drawings.
- Develop equipment and plant layouts based on project requirements.
- Modify and update existing drawings as per engineering changes.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with design, production, quality, and project teams.
- Conduct site visits for measurements and layout studies when required.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control procedures.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Positive working knowledge of SolidWorks (mandatory).
- Knowledge of CATIA/ANSYS is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and manufacturing specifications.




- Knowledge of gear motors, mechanical assemblies, fabrication, and industrial automation concepts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Preferred Experience
- Equipment design, machine layout design, or industrial automation projects.
- Preparation of assembly drawings and manufacturing drawings.
- Working with ERP/PDM systems and BOM management.
- Experience in engineering industries related to motors, gearboxes, conveyors, or automation.
