Job Description Job Descriptionn HITACHI RAIL is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Controller who thrivesn in a quick-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a widen range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Bangalore, India.n Accountabilities:n Project level responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:n  In conjunction with Project Team, develop the Work Breakdown Structure andn Budgets for the projectn  Work with Work Package Leaders (WPL) to develop accurate cost to completen estimates and percent complete evaluationsn  Track, monitor and report planned budgets/forecast vs. actual spend using projectn controlling tools (SAP, PCS and other tools). Provide variance explanations andn possible recovery plan actionsn  Work with Project Planner to review latest schedule and quarterly report the Earnedn Valuen  Monthly reporting of project resultsn  Assist with the preparation, processing and tracking of contract Change Ordersn  Work with the project manager to assist with the preparation and tracking ofn potential claims for additional workn  Track internal and external invoicing and reconciliation of cash receipts andn retention.n  Understand and report on the cash flow position of the projectn  Work with global controllers for Intracompany projectsn  Track subcontractor invoicing,



payments and reconciliationsn  Review and approve Purchase Order Requisitions in alignment with budget andn track P.O.s in PCS.n  Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget and reporting of the key performancen indicators for the projectn  Monitor the financial "health" of the project and raise the "red flag" when a negativen impact or condition arises.n  Calculate EVA at global level in accordance with group controlling moden  Resolve of queries from global reporting on actual, variance to budget, workload,n risk , opportunities etcn  Support functional Manager on project progress, key numbers and othern assignments like arbitration, claims etc.n  Support local ADMN in filling of Lower tax and other fillings as per statuten  Address queries both from Statutory, Internal and Global auditor. Resolve openn points with auditor pertains to project progress, delay, un-billed revenue, costn overrun, EOT etc.n Required Skills/ Knowledge:n  10-15 Years of experiencen  Knowledge of statutory (SAP) and management (reporting) Toolsn  Knowledge in Project cost control, Project Managementn  Expertise of Accounting & finance, Tax, requirementsn  Knowledge of legal requirements (Contract clauses , Bond text; L/C ...)n Languages: English and Other Indian Language.n Education/Qualifications:n  CMA/CA/MBA with 8-10 years of experience in handling Trunkey Project;n  Degrees in accounting or equivalent with experience of 10-15 years in handlingn Trunkey Project.
