Job Description:

- Responsible for analysis as per existing specification and test method.
- Responsible for preparation of relevant documents like reports of analysis, certificate of analysis and approved/ rejected of the products.
- Responsible for preparation of media /solutions of standards as per SOP.
- Responsible for calibration, Qualification and validation of equipments/instruments and proper documentation.
- Responsible for supervision of disposal of analyzed samples & used media.
- Responsible to check the house keeping activity of laboratory.
- Responsible for carrying out all activities in the laboratory such that it is following GMP/GLP/Safety guideline.
- Responsible for performing validation exercises belong to the department.
- Responsible for attending all training programme organized by company for continuous up gradation of knowledge for compliance with existing GMP/GLP guidelines and other relevant information.
- Responsible for complying with existing SOPs, relevant to all laboratory activities.
- Responsible for carryout any other assignments delegated by Head of the Department.
- Responsible for Member of Food Safety program and perform duties as per food safety team member.
- Preparation of Media and sterilization of glassware and media.
- Microbiological testing of water sample as per frequency decided in SOP or planner.
- Microbiological testing of finished products as well as based on customer specific requirement.
- To maintain all the required records, belong to microbiological analysis.
- Area monitoring of plant,



micro lab as well as RLAF room are to be carried out as per predefined frequency.
- Preparation of all SOP’s belong to the microbiological analysis.
- Maintenance of the culture used as Reference culture. Day to day transfer of the culture as well as monthly transfer of the culture.
- Intimate to head QC for requirement of media and glassware for the smooth functioning of the microbiological activity.
- To perform the Growth Promotion Test of the medium used regularly in the laboratories.
- To perform and verify sanitization as per pre-defined frequency.
- To provide support by microbial analysis of water sample for the water system validation activity.
- To validate the method of microbiological analysis of the process water sample.
- Ensure equipment suppliers for laboratory are qualified under qualifying system maintained by Quality Assurance department.
- If laboratory equipment is computer controlled, then ensure the necessary knowledge exists in such concepts.
- Responsible to prepare agenda for periodical quality meetings, decisions on CAPA implemented and their effectiveness measured.
- Prepare appropriate training material for laboratory related areas.
- Maintain appropriate spares parts inventory for any type of laboratory equipment, utilities for uninterrupted replacement.
- Should be able to adapt to changes in Laboratory functions as per newer quality requirements.
- Responsible for preparation of records/ documents as decided by the Head Of the department.
