Job Description: A junior chartered accountant(or Junior Accounts Executive) in the steel manufacturing industry focuses on daily financial operations, cost tracking, and statutory compliance (GST/TDS) within a factory setting. They work under senior accountants, supporting audits, inventory management, and reconciliations for manufacturing, purchasing, and sales processes. Key Responsibilities

- Day-to-Day Accounting: Managing general ledgers, voucher entries (Tally/ERP), billing, receipts, and payments.
- Cost Accounting: Assisting in calculating the cost of production, including monitoring raw material consumption, power, and fuel expenses.
- Statutory Compliance: Preparing and filing GST, TDS, and other compliance documents.
- Inventory & Ledger Reconciliation: Reconciling vendor accounts, customer ledgers, and bank statements, as well as tracking inventory movements.
- Audit & Reporting: Supporting senior staff during statutory audits and preparing monthly or quarterly MIS reports.
- Purchases/Sales Documentation: Handling E-way bills, invoices, and purchase records.

Requirements & Qualifications




- Education: b.com in Finance or CA Inter (Post-articleship experience is often preferred).
- Experience: Generally 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably within a manufacturing, heavy industry, or steel plant environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in TALLY ERP 9 tally prime or SAP is mandatory. Robust knowledge of MS Excel is also crucial.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of cost accounting, VAT/GST, and indirect taxation.

- Often located in industrial zones or corporate offices.
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Requires high attention to detail for handling massive transaction volumes (raw material purchasing, scrap selling, finished goods dispatch).
