LL.B. from a recognised university and eligibility to practise law in India. An LL.M. or company secretary qualification is an advantage but not a substitute for robust legal judgement and relevant experience.

• Minimum 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, gained in a reputable law firm, an in-house legal function, or a combination of both.

• Substantial experience operating as a senior in-house legal adviser, legal lead or trusted counsel to senior management, with demonstrated ownership of complex and material matters.

• Proven ability to independently draft, negotiate and close sophisticated, high-value commercial, technology and infrastructure agreements. • Robust working knowledge of corporate governance, statutory compliance, regulatory advisory, disputes, legal risk management and cross-border transactions.

• Ability to work hands-on and at speed,



with sufficient technical depth to review documents personally rather than functioning only as a coordinator of external counsel.

• Strong written and spoken English, with the executive presence and communication skills required to advise senior leadership, challenge assumptions and present explicit recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in technology, SaaS, telecommunications, AI, high-performance computing, digital infrastructure, data centres, smart city solutions or multinational environments.

• Experience supporting government, public-sector, critical-infrastructure, regulated-enterprise or large-scale project contracts.

• Exposure to listed-company governance, internal controls, cross-border reporting requirements and group-level legal processes.

• Experience with M&A;, joint ventures, financing, investments, restructuring, strategic partnerships or complex commercial disputes.
