Role

Maintain and run the science & STEM labs set up in our partner schools, and build the capacity of school teachers to conduct lab sessions independently.

Key Responsibilities

1) Visit each assigned school 1–2 times a month as per a fixed monthly travel plan

2) Verify that the lab is set up, accessible, and in use as intended

3) Conduct demonstration sessions with students using the lab kits and models

4) Handhold and coach teachers on conducting lab activities on their own — sit through their sessions and give on-the-spot support

5) Physically check every kit, model and instrument for working condition; identify damaged, missing or non-functional items

6) Maintain the lab inventory, consumables and stock register; raise timely replenishment requests

7) Carry out minor repairs and setup corrections on site

8) Submit a school-wise monthly report with usage data, teacher and student participation, material status and photographs

Coordinate with Head Teachers, CRC/BRC officials and the programme team

Eligibility

1) B.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry / Biology / General Science (B.Ed. an added advantage)

2) 0–3 years experience; freshers with a genuine interest in hands-on science are welcome

3) Fluent in Gujarati (essential); working Hindi/English for reporting

4) Comfortable with practical, hands-on work and school-level teaching

5) Basic computer skills — MS Excel, Word, mobile-based reporting

6) Two-wheeler with valid driving licence (essential — inter-school travel)

7) Should be based in or willing to relocate to the Halol area

Compensation

₹20,000 per month + travel allowance.

Commensurate with qualification and experience.
