Knowledge of vehicle-level homologation requirements and ability to propose compliant design solutions.
Understanding of occupant-related hardpoints and parameters as per SAE J1100 terminology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop occupant packaging targets.
Generate vehicle-level target zones for exterior and interior packaging.
Develop occupant posture models and define target zones.
Assess CAS (Computer-Aided Styling) surfaces against packaging and ergonomic targets.
Prepare and maintain Layout of Points (LOPs) and Design Verification Plan (DVP) reports.
Develop cutting-edge concepts in upper body packaging to enhance customer value and vehicle usability.
Support vehicle package optimization by balancing regulatory, ergonomic, and customer requirements.
Participate in design reviews and provide packaging recommendations during product development.
Ensure packaging targets align with performance, safety, and usability objectives.
