Responsibilities

• Filter Design Creation: Develop and refine HVAC filter designs based on performance standards, efficiency classes, and customer requirements.

• Design-Based Costing: Translate design specifications (dimensions, media type, frame material) into accurate cost structures.

• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost sheets covering raw materials, consumables, labor, and overheads.

• Material Consumption Analysis: Calculate media, frame, adhesive usage, and optimize consumption to reduce waste.

• Audit-Ready Documentation: Maintain structured costing records, bilingual charts ,



and ensure compliance with audit standards.

• Filter Standards Knowledge: Apply technical knowledge of ISO 16890 & ISO 29463 classifications to align design and costing with performance benchmarks.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with design, quality, and procurement teams to finalize cost structures.

• Process Improvement: Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement in filter manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering

• 3–6 years of experience in costing and design, preferably in HVAC or filter manufacturing.

• Robust knowledge of costing methodologies, material analysis, and design evaluation.

• Exposure to ISO 16890 & ISO 29463 standards is preferred.

• Proficiency in Excel-based costing templates and audit-ready documentation.

Required Skills

• Expertise in design creation and design-linked costing.

• Solid documentation and reporting skills

• Knowledge of HVAC filter standards and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to coordinate with procurement, quality, and design teams.
