Project Role Description : Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.

As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to ensure their optimal performance and reliability. The role includes installing database management systems and developing procedures that support daily maintenance activities and effective problem resolution. This position requires continuous monitoring and fine-tuning of database settings to meet organizational needs and support business operations effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database integrity and security.
Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency.
Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Assist junior team members in understanding database management best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
Strong knowledge of database design principles and implementation strategies.
Experience with database installation, configuration, and upgrades.
Ability to develop and maintain database maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques.
Understanding of performance tuning and optimization for database systems.

Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
