PRIME FUNCTION

Pre-Delivery Inspection

Job Description / Responsibilities
Review engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality requirements before inspection.
verify dimensions using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, thread gauges, feeler gauge, and CMM.
Raise and document non-conformance reports (NCR) for rejected parts/material.
Support root cause analysis using 5 Why / Fishbone and implement corrective actions.
Verify traceability of material, certifications, and process documentation.
Support internal, customer, and external audits.
Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and customer requirements.

AUTHORITY
Authority to accept or reject products based on drawing/specification requirements.
Authority to stop movement of non-conforming products to next process.
Authority to raise NCR and initiate containment action.
Authority to escalate quality concerns to Quality Manager / Production team.

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

Qualification
Diploma or any relevant field

Experience
1–4 years (Preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing)

Technical Knowledge
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T;




Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques
Knowledge of measuring instruments and gauges
Knowledge of NCR, CAPA, and root cause analysis
Basic knowledge of quality standards such as International Aerospace Quality Group AS9100 or International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001
Basic understanding of material certification and traceability requirements
