Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sommelier role based in Mumbai. The Sommelier will guide guests in selecting wines, provide qualified wine service, and recommend pairings that complement food offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include presenting and explaining the wine list, conducting tastings, maintaining proper storage and inventory, and collaborating with the food and beverage team to design pairing menus. The role also involves supporting wine sales,



educating guests and team members on wine regions and styles, and representing Wine Park's portfolio with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
Solid sommelier expertise, including wine pairing and deep knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and styles.
Experience in wine sales and customer-facing roles, with the ability to promote and upsell wines responsibly.
Background in food & beverage service, ideally in fine dining, hotels, or premium hospitality environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate guests and collaborate with internal teams.
Relevant certification in wine studies (e.g., WSET or similar) preferred.
Ability to work in office in Mumbai, including evenings, weekends, and peak service hours.
Strong organizational skills for managing inventory, cellaring, and wine list updates.
Passion for storytelling around wine and creating engaging guest experiences.
