Skills Required
Valid PAUT & TOFD Level II Certification as per SNT-TC-1A, PCN, or ISO 9712.
Hands-on experience in performing Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) inspections.
Proficiency in operating Olympus OmniScan X3 and X4 PAUT instruments.
Experience using automatic scanning systems such as Weld Rover or equivalent.
Ability to perform, interpret, and evaluate PAUT/TOFD inspection data in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & Div. 2.
Knowledge of weld inspection techniques, defect characterization, and acceptance criteria.
Familiarity with inspection procedures, calibration, and equipment verification.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld maps, and fabrication drawings.




Experience in preparing inspection reports and maintaining quality documentation.
Understanding of quality standards, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and customer specifications.
Knowledge of pressure vessel, heat exchanger, piping, or heavy fabrication inspection.
Familiarity with EIL specifications and project requirements will be an added advantage.
Positive analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with QA/QC, Production, and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies.
Solid commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
