Blue metal Mine Production Foreman Responsibilities & Duties
Supervise and lead a team of miners and production staff
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as company safety policies
Implement and maintain effective production systems and processes
Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to optimize production and minimize downtime
Maintain accurate production records and reports
Provide training and support to team members to develop their skills and improve performance




Identify and implement improvements to production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly

Mine Production Foreman Qualifications & Skills
Master's degree in mining engineering
Experience in a leadership role in a unionized environment
Certification in mine safety
Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in blue metal mining production, including experience leading a team
Solid knowledge of federal and state mining regulations, as well as company safety policies
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze data, make decisions, and solve problems
Commitment to safety and a strong track record of implementing and maintaining protected work practicesRole & responsibilities
