Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
Develop and execute test plans for big data applications.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and create test cases.
Identify, report, and track defects found during testing.
Maintain and enhance the automation framework.
Monitor and analyze test results to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Continuously improve and optimize testing processes.
Scrum/Agile methodologies

Preferred candidate profile

• 4+ years of strong experience on Python scripting
2+ years of strong experience on ETL/Bigdata testing,
3+ years of robust experience on SQL
Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer with a focus on big data applications.
Strong knowledge of Python and test automation frameworks.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with Agile software delivery including application lifecycle mgmt. (Jira, DevOps and Git).
