- Possess a detailed and practical understanding of the Australian mortgage broking industry, including broker workflows, lender policies, and credit assessment expectations.




Have hands-on experience in a Credit Analyst role within an AU broker, lender, or aggregator setting.
Demonstrate the ability to independently perform and explain:
PAYG income assessments (payslips, YTD, income consistency, variable income components)
Self-Employed financial reviews, including:
Sole trader, company, and trust structures
Financial statements, tax returns, NOA, BAS
Addbacks, income normalization, and policy-driven income calculations
Be capable of leading training sessions that clearly explain complex selfemployment income scenarios and financial documents to learners with varying levels of credit knowledge.
Show confidence in simplifying complex credit logic through examples, use cases, and scenario-based explanations.
