Role & responsibilities

The Pre-Primary Toddler Program Mentor will be responsible for planning, facilitating, and

delivering high-quality parenttoddler learning experiences under the Bright Beginnings

programme. The role focuses on nurturing early developmental milestones in toddlers while

empowering parents as active partners in their childs learning journey.

The Mentor will create a warm, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate setting

that supports cognitive, social, emotional, sensory, and motor development during the child’s

most critical early years.

Preferred candidate profile

• Execute toddler-level curriculum plans by translating early-years frameworks into daily

classroom activities with transparent developmental objectives.

• Design and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans, play-based learning modules, sensory

activities, and experiential resources aligned to program outcomes.

• Facilitate structured classroom routines that promote emotional security, socialisation,

language development, and foundational cognitive skills.





• Observe, track, and document individual child development milestones using defined

observation tools, progress trackers, and anecdotal records.

• Identify early developmental gaps or behavioral concerns and coordinate with parents

for timely interventions.

• Maintain comprehensive academic and child-care documentation including attendance,

lesson plans, observation notes, and parent communication logs.

• Ensure adherence to child safety, safeguarding, hygiene, and supervision norms as per

institutional and regulatory guidelines.

• Engage parents through structured, skilled communication to share

developmental progress, routines, and home-support strategies.

• Participate in continuous professional development programs focused on early

childhood pedagogy, classroom practices, and child psychology.

• Demonstrate role-model behaviour aligned to institutional values
