Job Summary

The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning setting for young children. The teacher plans and delivers age-appropriate lessons that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development while fostering a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct interactive and creative classroom activities based on the curriculum.
Teach foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, language, and general awareness.
Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
Observe, assess, and document each child's progress.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development and classroom activities.
Prepare teaching aids, learning materials, and classroom displays.
Encourage positive behavior and positive manners through effective classroom management.
Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to ensure the holistic development of students.




Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and career development activities.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
Diploma or certification in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Montessori, ECCEd, or equivalent is preferred.
Prior teaching experience in a preschool or kindergarten is an advantage.
