Role & responsibilities
Design, install, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for industrial and mobile equipment applications.
Work on JCB diesel vehicle conversion projects, including replacing diesel systems with battery-powered electric systems.
Perform battery pack installation, electrical wiring, cable routing, connection, and integration with vehicle control systems.
Carry out installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical components, sensors, controllers, motors, and battery management systems (BMS).
Inspect and modify mechanical components to support electric conversion requirements.
Coordinate project execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities for converted electric vehicles.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance.




Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Prepare technical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, and engineering reports.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety procedures, and HSE requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, service, and project teams to deliver projects on time.
Conduct field testing and performance evaluation of battery-operated JCB vehicles after conversion.
Maintain documentation of modifications, test results, and service records.
