Roles and Responsibility
Analyze medical records to assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
Review and process patient claims for payment from insurance companies and government agencies.
Develop and implement effective coding systems to improve data quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify coding discrepancies or denials.
Stay updated with changes in coding regulations and guidelines.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of coded data and patient information.
Job Requirements
