Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel modules, device drivers, and BSP software for embedded SoC platforms.
Perform board bring-up, bootloader customization, and hardware-software integration activities.
Develop and customize peripheral drivers such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, and storage interfaces.
Debug and optimize complex system-level issues across kernel, driver, and hardware layers.
Support kernel upgrades, driver porting, upstreaming, and platform software enhancements.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions.
Ensure software reliability, performance, and compliance with product requirements.
Utilize debugging tools such as JTAG, J-Link, Oscilloscope, and Logic Analyzer for issue resolution.
Preferred candidate profile
10+ years of experience in Linux Kernel, Embedded Systems, BSP, and Device Driver Development.
Robust expertise in Linux kernel internals,
system programming, and C development.
Hands-on experience with Embedded SoCs, board bring-up, bootloaders (U-Boot), and hardware-software integration.
Proficient in developing and debugging drivers for PCIe, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, storage, and multimedia subsystems.
Strong understanding of ARM/x86 architectures, multicore processors, memory management, DMA, IOMMU, and interrupt handling.
Experience with kernel upgrades, driver porting, upstreaming, and Yocto/Buildroot environments.
Familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG, J-Link, Oscilloscope, and Logic Analyzer.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in a cooperative workplace.
Exposure to GPU, Display, OpenGL/OpenCL, and RTOS development is an added advantage.
